I’m supposed to type some text and Zemanta will recommend images to accompany it. Nothing yet. Still nothing. Maybe if I mention kittens or puppies, I’ll get some recommendations.
Pizza. Golf. Igloo. Gay pride.
Still nothing.
Rabbit, tofu, Microsoft. Flowers, daisy, eggnog.
What’s a blogger gotta do to trigger a photo suggestion?
There we go! It’s just very slow. I’ll choose the lovely flowers over the Zemanta and Microsoft images to illustrate this post. As a some-time photo researcher, the words copyright-cleared are music to my ears.
The relevance of some of the photos Zemanta found was unclear, but that’s not surprising. Also, couldn’t seem to include more than one photo. That could be a function of my “theme” (template), which may only allow one photo per post. Will have to look into that.
It’s also worth noting that when I go back in to edit this post, Zemanta produces a different set of images suggestions. Interesting and odd. Why wouldn’t it offer the same images as it did a minute ago?
I enjoy the program, but I am often amused at the pictures it thinks may be relevant to my posts
